Easy crafts are so much fun to do because usually, your kids can do them without you. However, I also enjoy the crafts for kids where I can help out too! This unicorn craft made with toilet paper rolls does require an adult to help out, but they give you some much-needed bonding time with your child too! I call that a win!
Spring is almost here (yay!) so with a new season means new crafts for your homemade by your sweet kids! I always love hanging up all the art my kids make me because I know one day, those pictures and coloring pages will be a thing of the past 🙁 I am not ready for that! What parent is? So, for now, if my kids are willing to make me crafts and draw me pictures, you bet you will find them all on my walls and fridge!!!
And, when they draw me SO many pictures and make me SO many crafts, I tend to put the older ones away in a box and store it all in my shop outside. That way, when they are older, they can show their kids. My mom always saved my art projects and things I drew for her, and it means so much to me to be able to show my kids what I did at their age!

Unicorn Craft Made with Toilet Paper Rolls
Cute unicorns that are made out of toilet paper rolls! So fun to make and perfect for little and big kids to make!
- scissors
- Paint pens or markers
- hot glue gun/glue
- Empty TP roll
- Shiny paper straws (https://amzn.to/3l5CwbK)
- Assorted colors of party streamers (https://amzn.to/3qCaypn)
- Paint pens or markers (https://amzn.to/3qzdEdP)
- Construction or foam paper (https://amzn.to/3eoq1a8)
- Hot glue gun and glue (https://amzn.to/3vl7Wjt)
- Scissors (https://amzn.to/2PNhQK9)
- Use at least 3 colors of streamers – cut a 4 inch and 2 inch section of each color
- Glue the 4 inch pieces together vertically at one end and cut tiny lines from the bottom all the way up to the glue line as shown to form the tail
- Glue the 2 inch pieces together horizontally on one side and cut tiny lines from the bottom all the way up to the glue line as shown to form the hair
- Cut triangle shapes from the construction or foam paper for the ears – use paint pens or marker to decorate
- To make the horn, flatten the straw and cut a 3 inch section – then cut one end to form a point
- Glue the hair piece to the top of the roll in the center
- Glue the ears on either side of the hair from inside the roll
- Attach the horn right between the eyes from inside the roll
- Use paint pen or marker to draw on eyes and cheeks and any additional desired decoration
- Glue on the tail from the back of the roll on one side
